UEA Student Accommodation Refurbishment
We worked in collaboration with a large property services Main Contractor to deliver 35 refurbished en-suite bedrooms and 4 communal kitchens at the University of East Anglia.
The work required meticulous planning, execution and completion within the summer recess period, enabling students to return to new facilities ready for the start of their new academic year.
Heritage and Conservation
Bawburgh Installations worked with The National Trust to renovate one of their holiday accommodation properties. This was undertaken with careful and sympathetic restoration with our highly skilled tradespeople.
Wall Reinforcement
Wall reinforcement using the Helifix system.
HeliBar is a helical stainless steel reinforcing bar, with substantial tensile properties, used for strengthening and stabilising masonry in both new build and remedial situations.
External Staircase Refurbishments
External staircase refurbishments for Norwich City Council.
This project comprised of the replacement of existing dilapidated metal balustrading and handrails and concrete repairs to existing stair treads and new deck membranes; all undertaken whilst maintaining access to properties.
South Norfolk – Garden Room Extension
Bawburgh designed and installed a bespoke glass link and large garden room extension for a South Norfolk customer. Sympathetically created against the backdrop of a large Grade 2 Listed property.
New Build – North Norwich
A high-spec 3-storey 5 bed new build residential property including garage completed in 2016.
Kings Head PH – Ensuite Bedroom Accommodation
We renovated the 1st floor at the Kings Head PH (Bawburgh) to create new boutique en-suite bedrooms.
South Norfolk – Extension and Refurbishment
Bawburgh was the main contractor and worked closely with the client to build a large link extension to join house and previous garage.
High School toilet refurbishments
We worked in collaboration with another local building company to refurbish a toilet block at a South Norfolk high school.
Earlham Park – Replacement Public Toilets
Working with Norwich City Council we removed the previous toilet block and installed a bespoke site fabricated timber frame structure and installed anti-vandal facilities.
South Norfolk – Kitchen Diner Extension
A returning domestic customer of whom Bawburgh Installations have worked with many times on various projects. Most recently we have built a kitchen dining room extension, completed structural alterations and supplied and installed the kitchen.
